BUCKS PREGAME REPORT: Milwaukee Bucks @ Phoenix Suns 03/04/19

tiger pregame preview

The Milwaukee Bucks just came off possibly their most impressive loss of the season believe it or not. The last meeting against the Pacers in Indiana would take the crown thus far otherwise. But why I say this is because the Bucks loss 111-115 against the Utah Jazz in their arena after blowing a 17 point lead without their starting back court of Eric Bledsoe or Malcolm Brogdon. Especially considering how hot both players have been lately this is extremely impressive. The Bucks depth just continues to astonish us as the Bucks easily should have taken this game against a very good Jazz team with a young stud Donovan Mitchell who went off on the Bucks for a career high. So that leads into tonight’s affair with the Phoenix Suns who are arguably the worst team in the NBA given all statistics and not just record. It’s really hard for me to see the Bucks not winning this game if not absolutely destroying the Suns. If their is one thing that the Bucks have shown me all season that maybe I like most it’s their “resolve”. The Bucks easily beat Utah with our phenomenal back court of Brogdon and Bledsoe if they were playing. No way the Bucks lose this game tonight unless they show us some crazy sort of mental collapse we haven’t seen all season long

tiger pregame analysis

The Bucks remain #1 in Net Rating with a 9.1 score (and by a lot!) while the Suns rank 29th with a -9.3 score. The differential being +18.2 which is monumental. It is safe to say at this point in the season that the Milwaukee Bucks deserve all their praise. In fact, I don’t thin the NBA gives them enough as most analysts just want to keep blowing off their statistical dominance. This is a historic Bucks team who is historically dominating it’s opponents. Naturally you would think we are talking about the Golden State Warriors but nope, we’re talking about the Milwaukee Bucks! On paper, the Suns really just don’t have a chance here and I do not expect the results to be close.

Devin Booker is definitely the Suns wild card and he is capable of having epic scoring nights but really? Against the #1 defense? Against arguably the best PG defender in the league in Eric Bledsoe (assuming he plays)? There is a common trend this season for the Bucks which I expect to stay true…the Bucks sweep the worst teams in the NBA. They’re close to doing it against all the bad teams in the NBA and don’t expect the Suns to change that narrative. The Bucks front court should absolutely have it’s way and unless you can shoot from the perimeter (the Suns can’t shooting at a league worst 32.7% from three) well…good luck! If the Suns pulled this off it would be a complete fluke. But hey strange things have happened before!

TIGER PREGAME PREDICTION

Vegas likes the Bucks by 13 with the over/under being 233.5. Both of these teams play pretty fast and the Suns are horrible with protecting the ball and fouling. It could be a long night for the Suns and I would not be surprised to see the Bucks sitting starters and key players in the 4th quarter. I think the Bucks are due for another blowout and tonight is as good as any to try and predict one!

Final Verdict = (W) Bucks 124 @ (L) Opponent 99

TIGER’S Calling It…

“BUCKS BY 25.”

TIGERS FINAL TAKE

It’s been a couple of close games in the last week. I think I’m ready for a good ol’ classic Bucks blowout how about you? The Bucks should be ready to go and no matter who’s playing tonight as we could use an easy night and an easy win. If this ends up being close I’d be shocked. There is nothing about this match up presented though that creates any fear so yeah Bucks should crush em. GO BUCKS! BUCKS IN THE FINALS! BUCKS IN 6!
